What We Saw At Impressions Fort Worth 2024

November 19, 2024

The Fort Worth Impressions tradeshow was the place to be in late October.

Attendance was up and there was a great vibe and energy on the show floor. People were looking for new and great ideas from the industry, and in the SanMar booth customers were excited to see our Fall launch.

Ink Kitchen and UpSpire

I was honored to be part of the Ink Kitchen panel on the first day to talk about New Trends for Fashion.

Ink Kitchen was asking for donations from vendors for left over apparel and screen printing posters for donations for UpSpire! UpSpire creates employment that reduces or removes barriers that contribute to homelessness.

Founded by Presbyterian Night Shelter, UpSpire is driven by human understanding. They screen, train and support a professional wokforce designed to build a successful and inclusive community.

Made and ROQ hosted an after hours event with food, drink, education and fun, to raise awareness about Upspire. It was great to see all the people at the event enjoying each others’ company from many different states.

Flexbroiderery

New Items from Stahls’

While at the show I had the chance to talk to Jennifer Johnson at Stahls and learn more about some of their newest items.

  • Flexbroidery: Offer the aesthetic appeal of a high-end, sewn finish in seconds. Forget the threads, needles, hoops, and detailed steps, all you need is a heat press! Featuring unlimited colors and an innovative direct embroidered appearance, decorators can add value to their apparel, headwear, and accessories without taking on any new equipment investment or additional overhead.
  • Easy Rip: Prep and press DTF transfers faster. When every second counts on a big order, Easy Rip speeds up your workflow and cuts down prep time – no scissors needed. Just tear your transfers apart and start pressing.

How Not To Have 20 Tabs Open For Research

Tony Wavering from PromoHunt took the time to show me how customers can work from PromoHunt site.  Great marketing tool when needing to put presentations together more efficiently.

  2. Ditch outdated PDFs that aren’t mobile-friendly. With PromoHunt, craft sleek presentations directly from Supplier Websites, leaving your clients impressed.

Revisiting the Tajima TMEZ-KC

The Hirsch Solutions booth at Impressions Fort Worth was right next to the SanMar booth, and we saw the most traffic around their new embroidery machine. While we covered the Tajima TMEZ-KC pretty extensively in our Printng United recap article, I want to make sure no one misses out on this flagship model.

Aries Equipment

Aries 113 UV DTF Printer

I was able to stop by the GSG booth and take a look at the Aries 113 UV Direct To Film printer. This machine offers a smaller footprint to help decorators that have limited space to work with.

It’s an all-in-one solution with a built-in laminator, and a game-changer in the realm of DTF printing. This technological marvel redefines the benchmarks for performance and reliability. Set your print job in the morning, and by the evening your finished film awaits, with minimal need for operator involvement.

Exclusively crafted for UV printing, the DTF Station’s Aries 113 UV is equipped with dual XP600 printheads, and guided by cutting-edge Hosonsoft technology. This innovation enables you to transfer top-tier prints even onto irregular, non-flat surfaces without breaking the bank. The self-cleaning system minimizes downtime, while its White Ink Management System and assortment of sensors help ensure you can worry less and print more.

Planning Ahead For 2025

There are some changes for the 2025 Fort Worth Impressions show: it will be held in Dallas next year due to upgrades being done to the Fort Worth Convention Center.

It’s never too early to plan ahead for next year — the next Texas Impressions show will be here before you know it. See you there!
