We are rounding out the last few days of the decade and we are nearly a quarter of the way through this century. I’ll let that sink in…Now is one of the best times to reflect on the progress of our goals — our successes and our opportunities for next year.

Every day presents a new opportunity to make the world a better place and at SanMar we take that responsibility very seriously. In 2017, we set some corporate responsibility goals to achieve in 2020 and have been steadily making progress on them. As the year comes to a close, we’ve put together an update of what we achieved in the past year.

Our 2019 Corporate Responsibility Update is a nutshell version of what SanMar has done to make a positive difference for our employees, communities, sourcing partners and the environment.

Some of our accomplishments this year have included:

• Expanding our educational opportunities and training for SanMar employees
• Supporting community members through company-wide charitable giving events
• Introducing a new recycled content style, the District Re-Tee

We’re committed to keeping SanMar a great place to work, to support our communities and to deliver quality product that is sourced responsibly and sustainably. We strive to be and do better year after year and to motivate and inspire others to also reach new heights at every turn.
